The Supreme Court has ruled 7–2 against Trump administration efforts to force restrictive Postal Service rules onto mail-in voting — rules voting rights advocates warned would have disenfranchised millions ahead of the midterms.
The decision leaves states in control of running their own elections, and keeps mail voting accessible for seniors, service members and voters with disabilities.
